Rules and Regulations

  • Parents are to check the school diary every day for any information conveyed by school authorities.
  • Parents are expected to behave in a polite and civilized manner in their talk, interactions with the Teachers and School authorities. In case of unruly behaviour on the part of parents, the school will be forced to issue the transfer certificate of the student.
  • Parents are requested to co-operate with the school authorities by enforcing regularity and discipline, helping their children prepare their lessons and taking interest in the respective school activities.
  • Parents are requested to notify the school office in writing, about any change in address or contact number.
  • Parents are strongly recommended not to miss the opportunity of the parent-teacher meetings and open houses to get updates about the progress of their wards, both academic and personal.
  • Parents are requested to attend workshops/seminars arranged by the school to help them handle children in congenial and effective manner.
  • Parents should encourage their wards to take part in extracurricular activities and in the interschool competitions held during the academic year.
  • Parents may meet the concerned teachers/the Principal/Manager during the time and day given for such meetings
  • If the student is absent from school due to medical reasons for more than 3 days on return
  • He/she must produce a medical certificate stating the nature of illness and her/his state of fitness.
  • Attendance is compulsory on all days including Saturdays
  • Being an English medium school, the students are expected to speak in English with in the campus.
  • Students are expected to pay the actual cost for replacement of any article/appliance damaged by their carelessness or willful neglect.
  • Students should maintain a healthy, cordial relationship with their fellow students, schoolmates, teaching and non-teaching staff. They must also maintain personal  Hygiene.
  • Every student should be punctual and regular in attending the morning assembly and classes. Students who make it a habit of coming late will be sent home at the fourth instance after recording 3 warnings
  • Students should maintain silence and decorum with in the campus and inside the classes.
  • Electronic gadgets like CDs, pen drives, mobiles, and Ipods of any kind and Motor vehicles are strictly prohibited. If found they will be confiscated.
  • Students are not allowed to borrow or lend money and exchange any article with anybody. Fancy watches, wrist bands and other such accessories are not allowed.
  • Pack a light lunch with more vegetables nutritious food items in the right quantity, avoiding junk food and non-vegetables. This is to help students concentrate in their post lunch classes.
  • They must be in full uniform even on days of special functions like extra classes rehearsals and so on, unless permission is granted by the School authorities. Low waist, skin fit, narrow bottom, pants are not permitted in the campus. The shirt must be tucked in properly. Parents should ensure that their wards come to school in proper school uniform
  • Every student is to follow the rules and regulations of the school.
  • Parents and students should maintain politeness and courtesy in speech and conduct as well as cleanliness. Students should remember to acknowledge each and every one inside the campus.
  • For all students, a minimum of 45% score in each subject is compulsory in all exams conducted in the school during the course of the year.
  • Fees should be paid on or before the prescribed dates. Fees once paid will not be refunded.
  • Do not send students suffering from infectious/contagious diseases to school.
  • No student is allowed to go home during school hours unless he is accompanied by the guardian /parent with the permission of the Principal.
  • No parent or guardian will be permitted to accompany or collect the wards from the school campus between 8.15 am and 3.00p.m.
  • Parents and guardians can leave the children at the main gate . They must regard the instructions given by the  watchman who is authorized by the management
  • To promote eco-friendly school campus, plastic covers, toffee wrappers and plastic bottles are strictly prohibited.
  • In case of an emergency, the parent must inform the office and get a gate pass from the school office to accompany the students back home
  • No vehicle will be allowed to enter the school campus in the morning and  evening, except those of teachers and guests
  • Vehicles must stop at road leading to the entrance (Near the shrine), so that the school buses and vehicles proceeding to and from school could move out of the school premises effortlessly
  • It is to be noted that siblings  / relatives of the students of Teresa Spinelli Public School, seeking admission for the academic year, should go through the entrance tests that will be held on the specified dates, fulfilling the school norms. Otherwise the school is not obliged to provide admissions.
